The Cloud and IoT engineer assists the changes in information systems of companies to cloud-based computing, notably through the dematerialization of IT infrastructures and related digital services.
They are responsible for deploying, storing and managing data on servers in data centers located outside the company. They are involved in the design and implementation of IT platforms and storage processing, on demand, at remote sites, circulating on shared connections.
The cloud and IoT engineer intervenes and manages the interdependence between the Internet of Things and the cloud. Through their skills in design, deployment and administration of cloud infrastructures, they manage exchanges between objects and data processing (storage, data flow, elasticity of infrastructure, and so on.).
